Halloween Fun

How is everyone post Halloween? Michael went to Halloween in the Hills and had a good time. Fountain Hills is a lot like the islands. It's small, seasonal, and people are sort of flakey. You have no idea what people will attend and what they won't, and they're always complaining about how there's nothing to do. So you organize something and then no one shows up. Or you have an event and so many people unexpectedly show up that you run out of food, beer, whatever, and then people are mad at you and vow to never attend another of your events. It's not easy out there! But the businesses and organizations keep trying, and sometimes things are just right. This was one of those events. Here a are a few pics that weren't blurry.

My favorite has to be the scratching post. Although this one below of the kitty dressed as Superman, and his human dressed as him (dressed as Superman), really cracks me up (he's a former Fearless resident, and she's a volunteer).

Michael said there was so much to do and it looked like people were having so much fun, that by the time they got down the Avenue to the carnival, everyone was pooped already. Luckily, the carnival continues through the weekend.

Next up, Michael wants to do the Grape Stomp 5K.
