Not a lot going on blog-worthy on our end. There was a lot of paperwork to get started to get the ball rolling on all that's necessary to get the British Virgin Island work permit and to make immigration (for us) & agriculture (for the cats) happy. We're still thinking we're looking at a March or April departure for Michael and a July or August one for me. It's hard to plan because Michael's timing depends on how fast or slow the BVI officials are in approving the paperwork. Mine depends on the cats' vaccinations schedules and how well Michael's 4-month probation period goes.
In the meantime, the Navajo County Hashknife Sheriff's Posse's
Pony Express came through town again for their annual 200-mile long mail run.
Experience Fountain Hills caught some photos of it in the slideshow below.
There's a lot going on this weekend from the
Phoenix Open to the
SuperBowl plus all the craziness surrounding those events. I thought this picture from the SuperBowl fireworks display set against the desert sunset was pretty cool.
The morning of, we had dense fog.
When it burned off, the temps started coming up and we had a really nice day. We've got 80s coming, so you know I"m happy!
